In addition, Rafael has broad experience assessing and securing clients’ financial assets through Life, Health, as well as Property and Casualty Insurance products.

As a Co-founder of RS Commercial Capital Advisors, he provides credit advisory services and finance education, particularly focusing on community development initiatives. His expertise is further supported by multiple certifications in insurance, finance, and project management.

With a strong background in community development and financial inclusion, Ruben is dedicated to expanding access to capital for underserved businesses through smart, inclusive lending practices.

Throughout his career, Ruben has demonstrated a proven track record of growing loan production and expanding portfolios. He has held leadership roles at various organizations, including The Business Consortium Fund (BCF), Inc., where he spearheaded the transformation of the organization and contributed to its designation as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI).
